Indeed. The songwriting process. Not a complex vid, but interesting for songwriters on the creative process.

love billy. give me a holler when you want to chat about that one thing…peace
mm, kidna kewl: though I admit I can’t name a single SP song..
One question I have, as a non-songwriter for the most part, is would not the songwriting processes & approach be fairly different for the Christian genre..whether pop Christian(eesh), worship, prophetic worship, etc etc
Indeed Brad.
Rich, actually, a bit different, but not radically so. Still the same labors over chords, sounds, melody and lyric.
For me personally, artful songs like this one are the easiest to write. Worship songs are my greatest challenge - especially when I attempt more lyrical, rhythmic and melodic accessibility.
Then again, all that is changing…
fantastic..Billy is one of my favorite writers…genius

I think you do alright on the worship side Dan, I’ve got lots of mileage out of your stuff. And I did have a few seconds of glee when Eleanor Mumford asked me if I’d written, “All You Are” when I lead worship at a Pastor’s meeting in Scotland. I hesitated, wishing that it was mine, but had to give credit where it was due and said, that some American/Canadian fella had penned it
