I am continually astounded by the brilliance that resides in every conversation.
As humans, the way we say what we have to say, the heart that beats behind the choice of words of phrases, the history of our family that speaks when we voice a perspective – all of these elements find their way into a chat, a dialogue, or an in-depth sojourn together.
I believe that the quality of our lives is indeed expressed in the hidden places of the heart, and come out in our interactions with others. Today, I found a jewel in each conversation, waiting for me in a one minute hug-and-run, a five minute how-does-this-work, and a sixty minute let’s-change-the-world.
Each conversation a gift, each chat enlarging the story you and I are privileged to live – together.

Yes – great thoughts Dan. Of course some of the best conversations are those held with one’s self – it ensures I win every argument without fail. Methinks you’ve just proven the point really well ——–

Beautiful, and I agree although I also find that some of the best conversations are ones in which words are unnecessary. Ones in which two people connect on a deeper level heart to heart, spirit to spirit.
