Wonderful thought here Kurt. Seeing God at work from a variety of avenues - yes, in every direction, inward, outward, He is at work.

I love this paragraph:

"No longer is our life of worship lived in categories, leaving one world to the side while another world is tended. Embodied spirituality means that our followership of Jesus is injected into every sphere of life, and every sphere of life is therefore lived sacramentally – as an act of living worship before God."

Lately my personal devotions have been centered around the theme of dying to self. To do this, we need "Jesus injected into every sphere of life." Our world is so focused on individual feeling, desires and successes that we no longer see life as a sacrement meant to worship a Holy God.

I love seeing God work in me about something from a variety of avenues.

Thank You!

Embodying Spirit is 'our job.' The more we consciously involve Spirit in everything we see/do/say, the more of Spirit we share with our sister/brother embodiments, thereby perceiving more of Spirit as embodied, as expressed, in other and in self.

To perceive Spirit in nature is to see the perfection of a drop of dew on a blade of grass, of a tree's winter silhouette against a sunrise, of a vulture's breathtakingly beautiful soaring flight ~ the list is a 'never-ending story,' to say the least.

For a unique, mystical perception of (therefore, participation in) nature, I invite you to visit the website http://www.strategicbookpublishing.com/LiveFromtheMystic.html for info about my newly published book of metaphysical poetry ~ Live, From the Mystic. The glory of Spirit is perceptible everywhere, and the fun of 'our job' is ~ finding it!
