For anyone who is interested in exploring the theme of Lent further. I have now finished and uploaded the service I have prepared for this Ash Wednesday 2009. There is a leaders guide that can be printed off and also a downloadable pdf for participants.
It can be used tonight for Ash Wednesday or during the week for a homegroup.

Well,

here is my project, sorry didnt realise I needed to post a link here – oops!

I normally play guitar and dont sing or write or anything so this is very embarrasing, and I dont think its very good, but I promised I would try to learn as much as I could and I wont do that by always playing safe, so here is my attempt.

Have loved the course, even though I wish I had more time, you guys are all great and I look forward to seeing you all throughout the coming months – have a great year folks

I am in the same boat as Chris. It took me hours to squeeze anything resembling lyrics out of me. It will take more time to put a melody together or in my case – a drum beat.
