Just returned from our Mahone Bay National Vineyard Canada family gathering.

What a blast; but I’m exhausted. We’re hosting a whack of friends from BC and Alberta right now, as well as family, so I’ll start posting again next Tuesday with some pics, etc.

Mike Pilavachi’s words to our worship community will also be posted as a podcast, beginning soon….

  1. The Nat Gat was an absolute blast! Too bad I missed the Corum Deo though, Sharon said it was really good (but she did think quarter-turn wiping of the communion cup would be beneficial with large gatherings). What is with the wet suit Dan – you must not be spending enough time in the Atlantic building up your polar bear tolerance. Tsk. Tsk. :-) Now I could tell you stories. Funny I won’t tolerate a moderately cold pool, but I have no problems with a frigid ocean. Looking forward to those pics. And Pilavachi was great!

  2. Beauty. Yes, it was a rich time. Coram Deo was sweet in the candlelight in that glorious little Lutheran church. The “cup” thing was an accident; we were supposed to take it by intinction (dipping the bread in the cup), but Pete accidentally had us eat the bread before the cup happened. All well, share the love, share the germs – or take the cup later!

And… body gloves make the world go round. I show my ripples proudly! Yes, photos to come.
