This is huge! I heard him speak a few years ago. This conversation gives me hope.
I was just sharing with a friend how much tension I feel in growing a more creatively gifted worship arts tribe (diversity in expression), while at the same time shouting from the rooftops that if we divorce our worship from justice and mercy – we’re blowing it!

Spot on! Worship without compassion and a love for justice results in the famous verse from Amos 5, “Away with the noise of your songs…”
