Dan, we have drawn on the talking circle tradition when we meet as a community to hear together what God is inviting ‘us’ into. Like yourself we haven’t used the ‘talking stick’ but we have gathered our community in a large circle (round table w/o the table) and have given a very high value to listening to one another’s heart and seeking God’s heart in the midst of that. The richness of community comes alive during these times in something we have begun calling, ‘growing forward together’. I am now thinking deeply about what you are describing as Three Voice learning. I have always been interested with ideas that foster communal learning. It was a joy for me to have some time with you and Anita at the national gathering.
