“Laughter is the work of healthy people, and they take it very seriously.”

There’s my transforming thought for the day in the world of worship reflection.

Actually we had some amazing acoustic worship times this past module – hammered dulcimers, mandolins, guitar, violins, cajons, keys, voices and more just lifting the soul to the highest beauties. Laughter rounded out the music and the study, and life flowed like bright blue stars among us. So rich.

What a gift to lead this kind of study, work and formation. Come, Lord – reshape the world. Keep us laughing along the way.

Laugh loud and strong…..it’s the BEST kind of colour.

  3. I’m looking for more of it. It’s lacking in my life. I need to relax! And laugh! And that’s what I’m trying to do more of…enough of this seriousness!!! I was made to roll on the floor with uncontrollable peals of laughter. One thing the Lord has had me do this Lenten season is every morning anoint myself and my house (and any children that cross my path) with oil while saying “He anoints my head with oil. My cup overflows with joy.” Amen. It’s my declaration.

  4. On this past module I discovered the gift of laughing uncontrollably at very inappropriate moments. I blame Garrett and Justin, but it felt good.

  5. Ha everyone.

My wife and I are looking for things that make us laugh, and we’re working on a steady diet beginning in our home. Hard to find, sometimes.

    Hi,

Isn’t laughing just SO good for the soul?!
Our band rehearsals are full of laughter, tears-running-down-your-cheeks- laughter, and I feel when we learn to laugh with each other, as well as cry with each other, it creates a beautiful sound when we worship together…..

  7. beautiful….

Two things that came to mind when I read this:

I bet God laughed when he created/creates and uses this as confirmative joy when we collaborate with him and enjoy his presence.

I bet certain motivated laughter is holy to God.

  9. whoop whohoo hahalalalala. actually, today I feel more like crying than laughing – just one of those days – but Jesus is present in it all. When spit dribbles down my chin from crazy open-mouthed guffaws, he is right there, elbowing me with glee, his sides shaking with deep delight. And when tears dribble down my cheeks because this world need so much more love than I have, he is standing tall and still, leaning into me with his chest. yeah. I need both.

  10. Hello my friends,

Well, laughter is the best medicine they say. It is also a sign we are enjoying the fellowship of each other and the fellowship of the Lord.

Here are a couple of videos I watch if I need tickled a bit :)

  11. I like Mark’s idea!

My son Cameron and I had a blast laughing and joking while making a video montage of our children’s club’s annual “Pie in the Eye” night, where the kids get to Pie the leaders. You can watch it at:
